A uniquely different table that can enhance almost any room, this Regency Period table has a triangular base and round top. The edges of both the base and top are hand-painted in a triangular pattern to complement the style of the table. The chairs, too, are finely done and are painted to match. This handcrafted canopy bed dates back to the early 1770s. Since the canopy bed came into existence primarily for utilitarian purposes; early designs were merely for warmth and privacy. As the 1700s came about, the upper classes began to make them beautiful and curtain-like. The pink material on the side of this bed is pleated and folded to give the curtain effect. The Chippendale Period started in the mid 1700s. This bed is handcrafted and reflects that period. The cradle and all the accoutrements are included. I recently discovered a slight crack in the back corner underneath the canopy. I have repaired it. It is better than new.
